Doing nothing never felt so great!

So I've done nothing productive today...played a bunch of DotA's and watched Star Trek.  Went shopping with Rachel, too.  Went to the weekly meeting I always go to... nothing too exciting has really gone on today.  That's the beauty of it, though.  Having no obligations or anything is a nice feeling to have every once in a while.  I start work tuesday, so I won't have too much time to get settled in to this feeling.  Oh well... I need teh moniez.

I forsee the same thing tomorrow.  Wake up, play DotA, watch Star Trek.  Mmm...

Freedom isn't free

Exams are over!  I'm free!  I get to be a bum for the next few days until I start IHOP and I'm going to enjoy the hell out of them.  No more studying; no more getting up at OMG in the morning; no more school for 3 months!  Funny thing is... I can't wait to go back, lol.  Maybe 'cause I'm going to Tech?  Perhaps...  August 18th. 

Went to Breaker's last night with David, Rachel, Max, Ben, and Heather.  Ate at some Cuban place with Heather before that... everything sucked except the chicken.  Godam was that some good chicken.  Anyway...  I guess it was metal night last night.  Me being a metal head was excited as hell.... I don't get to see alot of live metal for whatever reason.  Problem is, they all sucked except for one band.  It was worth it, though, just to see Selva.  It's like a mix between Lamb of God, Killswitch, and Trivium.  Amazing vocals, guitar work, drums... everything.  Cant' wait to see them again.

I've got to find something to do for the next hour.  Heather's asleep on the couch and I've got to take her home in an hour.  So.... bored...

Feel good (dun du du du dun dunn...)

One more exam left!  Zomg!

Just sitting around David and Rachel's apartment watching Goldeneye.  We're waiting for Ashley and some others to get over here so we can watch Smoking Aces.  Tomrrow I can finally feel good about sitting around doin' nothing.  Mmm...

So I've been feeling alot better lately.  I don't know why and frankly I don't care.  It's nice to feel good for once.  I have David and Rachel to thank for that.  Without them I don't know how I could have gotten through all of this bullshit.  I'm not fully healed yet, but I'm well on my way.  Besides, I've always got Rosey Palm and her five sisters (I've killed that saying by now, but I don't care).

The relationship part of my life has been looking promising as well.  I am finally comfortable being single again and don't mind not having a "love" in my life.  I'm just dating around right now... nothing serious with anyone.  Not that I wouldn't mind having a serious relationship, I'm just not looking for one right now.  What happens, happens.  That's my philosophy for now.

I got to go out with Lianna again the other day.  Had some sushi... mmm... sushi.  It was great to get to see her again... havn't been able to 'cause she's been so busy with school.  Hopefully we'll get together more this summer.

Heather is really cool, too.  You wouldn't think it, but she's a real deep and philosophical person.  We had some interesting convorsations at La Hacienda the other day... mainly about religion.  It's nice to be able to discuss these things with people again.  Me, her, Dave and Rachel and some others are goin' to breakers tomorrow so gonna have a kick ass time.

Then there's Jessica H.  Met her at AWA a few years ago and we just started talking again.  She's the textbook example of a gamer chick.  Pale skin and everything (which is hot, by the way...).  Hopefully we can actually go out sometime instead of messaging back and forth on facebook (which is better than nothing, though).

I'm not worried about anything, though.  What happens, happens.

Done:  Physics 2212, Math 3303 (Differential Equations), Pols 1101

To go:  Math 2140 (Linear Algebra), Hist 1111

Physics was suprisingly easy.  I had trouble on one part, though.  I had to determine the current through a specific resistor and my answer kept comming up as zero.  Obviously, I screwed up somewhere.  I'm hoping that even though I didn't that that exact value (which was needed to finish the rest of that set of problems), I gave the correct(hopefully) expressions for the rest of the problems, so hopefully I'll get some partial credit. 

Don't even get my started on Differential Equations.  The tahke home portion was a near disaster... so freakin' difficult.  I was about to gouge out my eyes!  Seriously!  I had the fork scraping at my cornea.  Thankfully, I decided at the last minute that damaging my beautiful self would only harm humanity in the long run.

I flunked the political science exam and probably the class.  Fuck it.

Hangin' out at David and Rachel's

Once again I find myself at David and Rachel's apartment just chillin'.  I brought my school stuff and told myself I'd study, but of course I'm NOT studying even with exams tomorrow.  I love being over here, though.  All of my closest friends are usually over here, obviously David and Rachel being here 99.9% of the time. 

Exams... gay...

Oh well, I'll have some time tomorrow to study before physics.  I don't want to even think about political science.  I forsee taking that again in the future.  I really don't care, though.  I'm going to Ga Tech next semester so the last thing on my mind is whether I do well in political science as a physics major.  I think I'll do good on physics, though.  I did really good on the final last year and looking back it wasn't that hard.  Hopefully, it'l be the same for this final.  Guess I'll find out tomorrow.

I also started talking to Jessica H. again.  I met her a few years ago at AWA and talked to her for a few weeks, but we lost contact after a while.  Lo and behold, I meet her sister (not knowing it was her sister at the time) and was like "whoa... small world, eh?".  Maybe something will come of this... who knows ;)
